Director of Video Services

Glauber Rodrigues is the Director of Video Services for iBackPack. As such, he is responsible for writing, editing, producing and managing the videos created to promote the iBackPack product. We are approaching video much differently than other crowdfunding sites – in that we have created a video for every one of the features of the technology.

Mr. Rodrigues was born in Belo Horizonte, Minas Gerais State, Brazil. He graduated from the Universidade Federal de Minas Gerais (Federal University of Minas Gerais). His studies in college were Visual Arts, majoring in Animation Film and Graphic Design. Glauber is focused on video editing, motion design, illustrations, animations and interactive content. He has broad experience with projects in the area of communication and technology. He is particularly interested by the cinematographic work of David Lynch.

In 2015, he was selected for the Anima Mundi, one of the most important animation festivals in the world for his short film “Persona Victima.”

EVP of Social Media

As Executive Vice President of Social Media for DayBreak – Jennifer is responsible for all aspects of the DayBreak social media campaigns. She personally manages the DayBreak Twitter, Pinterest, YouTube, Xing and Instagram accounts. Jennifer has been working with DayBreak since its founding in 2000. She helped design the first business card and logo.

Jennifer helped choose the DayBreak office space, purchase our first desk and computer system and is an integral part of the success of the organization.Each day, Jennifer identifies news articles that are pertinent and relevant to the iBackPack product. These include the latest and greatest solar technologies, new GPS capabilities, superior battery systems and much more. While she is not a programmer, she understands how new technologies can be integrated into mobile platforms.

If you have any suggestions, ideas or comments regarding how we can further the iBackPack product – please reach out to Jennifer directly. She spends four hours each day personally answering all tweets, emails, skype chats and posts on the iBackPack social media sites.

Personal Assistant to the CEO

Shanze is Assistant to iBackPack’s CEO, Doug Monahan. As such she is responsible for ensuring that everything is organized, as well as for helping manage a wide variety of key functions for the company. A few of them include Human Resource functions, payroll and generally keeping tasks on track.

Shanze has assisted greatly in our efforts to reach out to various crowdfunding sites. Additionally, she will be helping to manage the orders, shipping and process to ensure the iBackPacks are manufactured and delivered as promised.

In Shanze’s words: “The iBackPack is hands down the most exciting project I have ever worked on – it gives you a real adrenaline rush. What’s not to love when you have an incredible team cheering you and an even more, larger than a life idea.”

Doug Monahan

CEO

Doug Monahan is a true Texan. He is a member of the “Old 300″ which means his ancestors came to Austin, Texas with Stephen F. Austin in wagon trains in the 19th century. He attended the US Military Academy at West Point on a full-four year scholarship.

As CEO&Founder of DayBreak Design, Doug is responsible for the long-term vision of the company. The iBackPack product is his brainchild. He believes it will revolutionize the ability for students and business professionals alike to connect to, and use, the internet remotely.

Prior to founding Daybreak, he founded Sunset Direct Inc. in Austin, Texas. Using only his credit cards and $100k in available credit, he was able to lead Sunset as the 28th fastest growing company in the United States (Inc. 500 award), as well as the 5th and 7th fastest growing company in Austin per the Austin Business Journal in the late 1990s.
