Every company has its own way of functioning, and more or less all of the companies are similar in the way they act and work. However, the iBackPack Inc. functions in a slightly different way than many of the companies. We believe in people’s power and so we do not work in isolation – we listen to people’s comments, suggestions and ideas. Therefore, we have created our mini-website where people can vote for the features that they want to be part of the backpack.
Additionally, we created a Facebook page to keep better communication with our fans. And in the past thirty days over 100k people have liked our Facebook page and they are joining this largest collaboration effort of technology so far. Our next station is the crowdfunding platform, Indiegogo.
We plan on promoting our iBackPack on Indiegogo starting from August 15. We want to make our product successful and moreover to give people the opportunity to participate in the history of the iBackPack making. And of course, they will be rewarded for their contribution.
Though we are only half a month before launching our campaign, we have one advantage – the Indiegogo partnership. It seems as the managers of Indiegogo believe, as we do, that our product will be successful and so they offered to partner with us. This is not uncommon for Indiegogo – they sometimes do this with products they believe will be successful. And for us this is a huge benefit and great advantage because we will know for sure that everything is in place for a successful launch thanks to the Indiegogo campaign strategist that is assigned to us.
Another thing that we are currently working on is the translation of the ibackpack.co site into French, Spanish, German, Italian, Macedonian, Slovenian, Urdu, Swahili, Tagalog, Portuguese and Hindi – all within a week. We believe in the crowdsourcing power and the need everyone to feel as he/she belongs with us.
And something more about the largest virtual community that we are building:
The iBackPack community includes over 1,000 individuals scattered throughout the world.
They are working diligently toward ensuring the iBackPack is a technology created “by the people – for the people.” The iBackPack team is a multinational team, and the iBackPackers come from over 60 cities in the USA, France, Germany, Italy, Pakistan, India, Malta, Macedonia, Slovenia, Russia, China, Spain, Greece, the Ukraine and dozens more. They are the ones responsible for the iBackPack design and for the addition of multiple USB Ports, 3G & 4G WiFi, Bluetooth stereo system, apps for the iPhone/iPad and Android smartphones and tablets to the iBackPack. Each day, they act as a global community via Skype chat, video and audio calls in order to vote on the features that are most important to them.
Our motto is that not even one idea is too small, and none too big – so we embrace and look at each idea carefully and study its potential. To deliver best results you have to be in touch with as many people as possible – and we are doing that. If you want to join our community, follow us on social media sites, and don’t forget to support us when we launch our amazing product on Indiegogo.
